Participated in the 2nd BRIC Urban Forum
On November 6, Mr. Zhan Zhenyang, Chairman of Shandong Zhenyang International Trade, as the ambassador of the BRIC Urban Forum, organized the Yantai Development Zone Investment Promotion Bureau to participate in the second BRIC Urban Forum through a video conference. The forum was organized by the BRICS International Municipal Forum, hosted by the Organizing Committee, and co-organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Russian Business Association. With the theme of "Developing the import and export trade of the BRICS countries and enhancing the attractiveness of regional investment", the forum was attended by representatives of political, business and academic circles from China, Russia, India, South Africa, Peru, and Brazil. With the help of Mr. Zhan Zhenyang, Chairman of Shandong Zhenyang International Trade, as the only Chinese city invited by this forum, the relevant person in charge of the China Merchants Bureau introduced the business environment and foreign trade investment of the development zone to the guests from various countries. We sincerely invite people from all walks of life from all over the world to study and exchange. The vice chairman of the Executive Committee of the Russian Business Association, the co-organizer of the forum, expressed his deep impression of the high-quality business environment in our district and hoped to send a delegation to the district after the epidemic ends next year.

As an annual exchange event, the BRICS Urban Forum aims to create a platform for the cities of the BRICS countries to promote economic, cultural, Strengthen communication and exchanges in the fields of science and technology, tourism, and seek cooperation opportunities. With the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the St. Petersburg City Government, the forum is included in the official calendar of events for Russia as the rotating presidency of the BRICS in 2020.
